The third round matches of the FA Cup 2024-25, where Premier League and second-tier clubs enter the competition, will be held from Jan. 9-13. However, the FA is yet to confirm the full schedule.
Holders Manchester United will take on to face Arsenal in the third round of this season’s FA Cup.
It will be the 17th occasion that 14-time winners Arsenal will meet Manchester United, who have lifted the FA Cup 13 times, in the competition, including the 1979 and 2005 finals, which were both won by the Gunners.
In the other all-Premier League tie, seven-time FA Cup winners Aston Villa host West Ham United. The clubs have met three times in the competition previously with Villa winning twice and losing once.
Last season’s losing finalists Manchester City have been drawn to host fourth-tier club Salford City, while Premier League leaders Liverpool welcome Accrington Stanley and Chelsea are at home to another League Two side Morecambe.
Eight-time winners Tottenham Hotspur will be hosted by non-league Tamworth, while Newcastle United are at home to League Two newcomers Bromley.
Everton defender Ashley Young, 39, could face his 18-year-old son Tyler after the Toffees drew Peterborough at home.
