Fabrizio Romano Confirms Erling Haaland Injury
After a forgetful display at the FA Cup quarter final against Bournemouth, now reports have surfaced indicating that Erling Haaland might miss most of the final part of the season due to an ankle injury suffered during the game.
Haaland has completed 30 goals for club and country this season
The Norwegian has been in sub-standard form compared to his standards, but has still completed 30 goals for club and country this season.
The goal machine has looked lazy and error prone in front of the goal this season and has missed many chances. His missed goal opportunities has been one of the main reasons for City’s downfall as he is the only player that has scored more than 10 goals in the entire season. Despite missing many sitters, he is still the one who will score for city.

This was on display against Bournemouth as after missing some easy chances and penalty, he was the one who scored the opening goal.
His towering presence and aerial ability also helps him when arriving in the box.
The rest of the season will be a difficult affair to see out for Pep Guardiola
The rest of the season will be a difficult affair to see out for Pep Guardiola who will be looking to at least win the FA Cup.
Manchester City who are in contention for European spots will also seek motivation from Omar Marmoush who will be the likely replacement for the Norwegian in the starting lineup.
The Egyptian has shown moments of brilliance in different matches but can he do what Haaland has been doing all season, scoring goals even though not necessarily having a good game.
Fabrizio Romano has confirmed
Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that he will miss major parts of the final part of the season and might be back in time for the Club World Cup.

Many consider this an opportunity for Foden and Marmoush to shine to show Guardiola they can also score goals.
Man City will consider this as a blessing in disguise as City are not in any major tournament except the FA Cup. They need to focus on the Premier League and it will also be a good time off for the Norwegian to rethink his tactics and work on how he can get better at attacking plays.
