Indian cricket team will be heading to West Indies’ home to play the three-match ODI and five-match T20I series against them. On Thursday, 14th July, BCCI announced the squad for the T20Is against West Indies. Indian cricket team captain Rohit Sharma will lead the side in this 5-game T20Is. Shikhar Dhawan will be the captain in the ODIs.
BCCI didn’t give a chance to Sanju Samson and Rahul Tripathi in the squad against West Indies. Fans on Twitter wasn’t impressed by this decision of dropping Sanju and Rahul Tripathi from the T20I squad. Both these batters played very well in the IPL 2022 and Sanju Samson also performed well when he was given chance to play in the T20I game against Ireland. Thus, fans wanted to see this both in the T20Is for this West Indies tour.
