She secured the title with a strong score of 8 out of 11, which not only gave her the FIDE Grand Swiss 2025 prize money of $25,000 but also qualified her for the 2026 Women’s Candidates Tournament. 

Vaishali’s win was also historic because she became the first player to win the Women’s Grand Swiss twice, a feat not achieved by anyone in either the Open or Women’s sections before.
