Hassan Al-Haydos, Forward

Age: 31 Years Old

Al Haydos, a playmaker who can also play on the right flank and in central midfield, was one of Qatar’s standout players during their 2019 Asian Cup victory. He has evolved at Al Sadd under the guidance of Jafal Rashed Al Kuwari. Due to his undeniable technical skill, he will undoubtedly be one of Al Annabi’s shining stars this winter.

Throughout his career, his on-field charisma has continually shone. Whether it was his late winning goal against Japan in the 2008 Olympic qualifications or his legendary heroics in the club’s penalty shootout win over Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors in 2011, he has displayed a tonne of character.

Afif Akram

Position: Forward

Age: 25

Afif, like his father, is a flexible player who can play on the left or right wing and, on occasion, even serve as the attack’s catalyst.

After playing for OH Leuven in Belgium and various Spanish teams, Afif also has extensive experience playing in Europe. He presently plays for Al Sadd, where he has made a lasting impression on the league. He nevertheless won the Qatar Stars League’s top player award despite a minor decline in performance since April.

Almoez Ali

Position: Striker 

Age: 25

With nine goals and four goals, respectively, the current Al-Duhail SC player led Al Annabi in scoring at both the 2021 Gold Cup and the 2019 Asian Cup. He is the first player in the world to have scored in three different continental championships, and he now ranks third all-time in goals scored in Qatar with 39; he is only one goal behind Mansour Muftah, who has 44 goals to his credit.

Saad Al Sheeb

Position: Goalkeeper

Since making his debut in 2009, the goalkeeper for Al Sadd SC has been a stalwart of Qatar’s national squad. In addition to having won more than 75 caps for his country, Al Sheep was essential to Al Sadd’s back-to-back championship victories in the Qatar Stars League during the previous two seasons. Additionally, the goalie has competed in important international competitions including the Asian Cup, Copa America, and CONCACAF Gold Cup.

Abdelkarim Hassan

Position: Left-Back

Age: 28

Hassan, who has 120 international games under his belt and is Qatar’s third-most-capped player, is known by several nicknames, including “The Gunner” and “the Flamethrower.” For many years, Hassan has been Al Annabi’s first pick for the left-back position, and he has unrivalled impact.

The current Al Sadd SC star, who previously spent a brief period in Belgium, is predicted to be one of Qatar’s most important players this season. His thunderous goal against Yemen in the 2019 Gulf Cup is an example of his lightning-quick speed, gifted technical and dribbling abilities, and rocket-like shot.
