The Australia National Football team’s first match in ‘Group D’ is scheduled with France on 23 November 2022. However, the team has been placed in Group D, alongside France, Tunisia and Denmark for the FIFA World Cup

The team, which is officially known as the Socceroos, is generally controlled by Football Australia, which is, however, affiliated to the Asian Football Confederation (AFC), as well as the regional ASEAN Football Federation (AFF). The team is currently led by the head coach, Graham Arnold. However, Graham Arnold has so far proved himself as someone who is willing to experiment and adapt to changes whenever the need arises. However, the Australia National Football team has managed to represent the team for six times at the FIFA World Cup tournament, which were in 1974 and from 2006 to 2022.

Belonging to the same group of France, the competition can be somewhat complicated for the team.
