The Cameroon team is expected to compete against Switzerland in their opening match in Group G on 24 November 2022 for the FIFA World Cup 2022. The team is placed in ‘Group G’, with Switzerland, Serbia and Brazil.

The Cameroon National Football team, who is also regarded as the “Indomitable Lions” is basically controlled by the “Fédération Camerounaise de Football”, who is a member of FIFA and its African confederation CAF. According to reports, the team has qualified for the FIFA World Cup 8 times, which is more than any other African team, and 4 times in a row between 1990 and 2002.
