FIS Snowboard Cross World Cup 2024-25 season reaches its penultimate stop in Montafon. Events will be held from 20-22 March in the steep and winding course for thrilling races.
Three days of racing will see events in the women’s, men’s, and team competitions. The competition will be crucial in determining this season’s Crystal Globe winners. These races come ahead of the final stop in Mont-Sainte-Anne, Canada, from 4-6 April.
FIS Snowboard Cross World Cup 2025 Montafon: Top Contenders
Charlotte Bankes
Three time Olympian Charlotte Bankes tops the women’s standings with 57 points clear of the second placed athlete. The two-time world champion moved into the overall lead with four straight victories. The 29-year-old Briton earned her fifth win of the season in Gudauri, Georgia on 9 March, and 25th individual victory.
Lea Casta
Lea Casta won the opening World Cup race of the season in Cervinia, Italy in December, The 18-year-old Frenchwoman has managed to finish on the podium of every race save one this campaign,
Éliot Grondin
Éliot Grondin is way ahead in the standings with 464 points- 145 ahead of his closest challenger. The Canadian has won two races this season and collected a second and third-place finish.
Jakob Dusek
Dusek is behind Grondin in the standings. He also won two races this season. He will be hoping for that to change in front of home fans this weekend. With three races still to come, Dusek will look to improve his performance for the Winter Olympic Games 2026.
