In an exciting 1st leg of the semi-final of the Champions League Man City played against Paris Saint Germain in the Parc des Princes. In the 1st half, PSG played a high line and got the lead courtesy of Marquinhos’s header from a corner. In the 2nd half, City fought back and scored twice to go ahead in the away game.

Florenzi after losing the 1st leg said: “We lost our shape, it’s not like us. We are 22 talented players on the pitch, it’s a battle for 90 minutes. The first goal was a little fortunate, the second went through the wall. Details make the difference at this level. However, we’re only halfway through the battle, they haven’t won the war yet.

Florenzi added: “We hope to continue the trend of away wins. It won’t be easy, but this team has what it takes to win in Manchester. We need 11 warriors ready to die on the pitch.”

It would be difficult for Parisians in the second leg as City has 2 away goals advantage which could come in handy if Paris scores less than 2 goals in the second match of the semi-final.
