The post-Ronaldo and Messi era for F.C Barcelona and Juventus brought glory to one club and despair to the other. As the club’s superstars moved places this transfer window there was a lot of buzz as to whether clubs like Bianconeri and Catalan would be able to survive with the departures of their greatest talismans. This weekend brought in exciting games for both clubs. Tough challenges await in both the leagues as Juventus faced a newly promoted team and lost, while on the contrary F.C Barcelona faced Getafe and won 2-1.
The departure of their star performers has affected their clubs someway in a mixed se of emotions. Juventus Ex C.E.O has said it was better as Ronaldo left because the team can perform well as a collective unit without him. Ronaldo, who brought in a lot of goals was publicly slammed by the ex C.E.O for his ack of team spirit.
Juventus fan pages on Instagram trolled Ronaldo by putting outposts and stories saying who needs Ronaldo prior to the defeat, but in fact, Juventus needed Ronaldo, because the moment Ron entered Seria A, the market value of Italian football and Juventus stocks escalated. Not only Ron was instrumental in providing goals and assists, but the financial and monetary aspect was also covered by his presence.
F.C Barcelona perhaps didn’t need Leo Messi as they won the game against their opponents with ease. Goals from Roberto and Depay helped the Catalans grab three easy points.
