The summer transfer window is just around the corner, and the rumours are already starting to heat up. Here are some of the biggest stories making the rounds:
Chelsea
Chelsea are reportedly interested in signing Neymar from Paris Saint-Germain. The Brazilian superstar has been linked with a move away from the Parc des Princes for some time, and Chelsea is now one of the clubs said to be in the running for his signature. Neymar would be a major coup for Chelsea, and he would add a lot of firepower to their attack.
Real Madrid
Real Madrid are also in the market for a new striker, and they have identified Tottenham’s Harry Kane as their top target. Kane has been in outstanding form for Spurs in recent years, and he would be a perfect fit for Real Madrid. The Spanish giants are desperate to win the Champions League again, and Kane would give them a great chance of doing so.
Marco Asensio is another player who could be on the move this summer. The Real Madrid winger is out of contract at the end of the season, and he has been linked with a move to Paris Saint-Germain. Asensio is a talented player, and he would be a good addition to any team.
Manchester City
Manchester City are reportedly willing to sell right-back Joao Cancelo. Cancelo has been in good form for City this season, but he has found himself behind Kyle Walker in the pecking order. City are reportedly willing to listen to offers for Cancelo, and Barcelona are said to be interested in signing him.
Arsenal
Arsenal are interested in signing Brighton midfielder Moises Caicedo. Caicedo is a talented young player, and he has been impressive for Brighton since joining the club from Independiente del Valle in January 2021. Arsenal are looking to strengthen their midfield, and Caicedo would be a good addition to their squad.
West Ham are reportedly interested in signing Arsenal left-back Nuno Tavares. Tavares has struggled to make an impact at Arsenal since joining the club from Benfica in August 2021. West Ham is looking for a new left-back, and Tavares could be a good option for them.
Barcelona and Manchester United
Barcelona and Manchester United are both interested in signing Belgian midfielder Arthur Vermeeren. Vermeeren is a highly-rated young player, and he has been impressive for Royal Antwerp since joining the club from Club Brugge in January 2021. Barcelona and Manchester United are both looking to strengthen their midfield, and Vermeeren would be a good addition to either squad.
Liverpool and PSG
Torino centre-back Perr Schuurs is attracting interest from Liverpool, Manchester United, and PSG. Newcastle United
Newcastle United have reportedly sent scouts to watch RB Leipzig midfielder Dominik Szoboszlai twice in the past two weeks. Szoboszlai is a talented young player, and he has been impressive for RB Leipzig since joining the club from Salzburg in January 2021. Newcastle United are looking to strengthen their squad, and Szoboszlai would be a good addition to their midfield.
