Footballers and coaches need to be in harmony for a team to perform. A coach or the manager of the team needs to have trust in his players as well as have the required backing from his players.

Managers can have arguments with their players for numerous reasons. One of the most famous reasons for an argument or fight to happen between players and managers is because of the substitution of the players. There have been instances in the past when some players argued with the manager to such an extent resulting in the players refusing to play for the team.

Roberto Mancini will always remember his time at Manchester City for the memorable title-winning goal by Sergio Aguero in 2012. But one incident that Mancini will surely try to forget is his argument with Argentinian striker Carlos Tevez in 2011.

Tevez refused to come off the bench in a game against Bayern Munich. With City trailing 2-0 in the game Mancini planned to introduce the Argentine striker to the game. Tevez surprisingly declined the offer to come on which led to Mancini saying in the post-match remarks that Tevez would never play for him.

Tevez was fined 500,000 pounds and a suspension from the team for two weeks.
