Fortnite fans might be in for a major surprise as leaks suggest that Bruno Mars could be the next featured artist in Festival Season 9, replacing Sabrina Carpenter when she steps off the Main Stage on June 20, 2025.
From Rumours to Reality?
Although previous rumors pointed to Deadmau5 as the next headliner, trusted Fortnite leakers @ShiinaBR and @SamLeakss have now reported that Peter Gene Hernandez, better known as Bruno Mars, is expected to take the spotlight instead. Their claims have also been echoed by other leaker communities, making the possibility stronger, though not officially confirmed yet.
Not a Stranger to the Island
Bruno Mars is no stranger to Fortnite. He first appeared in Chapter 3 Season 1 as part of the Silk Sonic collaboration with Anderson .Paak, celebrating their debut album An Evening With Silk Sonic. That event was met with massive success both in-game and outside it. Since then, Fortnite has added a few Jam Tracks featuring Bruno Mars, but fans have been waiting for more.
With Festival Season 9 right around the corner, this rumored return could coincide perfectly with speculation of a new Bruno Mars album later in 2025. Given Fortnite’s history of debuting music like it did with The Weeknd, it wouldn’t be surprising if a new Bruno Mars track premieres right in the game.
What Happens Next?
We’re expected to learn more during Fortnite’s v36.10 update, which drops on June 18, 2025. Epic Games usually releases teasers before major in-game events, so keep an eye out for any visual or audio hints revealing the next Festival headliner.
Reminder
As always with leaks, it’s best to take this news with caution until Epic Games confirms it officially. Still, given Bruno Mars’ popularity and previous Fortnite appearance, this leak is gaining serious traction.
Stay tuned Festival Season 9 could be getting a whole lot funkier.
