The much-awaited Free Fire Esports World Cup 2025 has officially begun on July 16, 2025. The tournament features 18 top teams from around the globe who are ready to fight for glory and a share of the $1 million prize pool. This is one of the biggest Free Fire tournaments ever, and fans are excited to watch their favorite squads in action.
Knockout Stage Format
The tournament begins with the Knockout Stage, which will continue for five days. The 18 teams have been split into three groups (A, B, and C) with six teams each. On Day 1, Group A and Group B will compete.
Each team will play 12 matches in this stage. After all the matches, the top 12 teams will move forward to the next round.

LOS won the Brazil regional tournament, while Rainbow7 and Hotshot Esports also performed well in their regions. These teams could be surprise packages in the World Cup.
