GG vs DC: In the 2026 Women’s Premier League (WPL), Gujarat Giants vs Delhi Capitals was a nail biter until the final second. In the end, Gujarat Giants prevailed by 3 runs over Delhi Capitals.

All eyes were on the closing stages of the game when Sophie Devine managed to restrict the Delhi team from reaching a target of nine runs in the last over. This was the first loss for Delhi in this current leg of the WPL.

Sophie Devine was once again impressive in her ability to protect a small total, after successfully defending seven runs in this same match-up earlier in the WPL season.
