Former Australian leg spinner Shane Warne on Tuesday posted with on-field rivals and great friends, Sachin Tendulkar and Brian Lara, saying,”Great battles on the field and great friends of the field! Warne’s post was loved by fans around the world as they dropped some lovely emojis in the comments section. Home of Cricket, the official Instagram page of the Lord’s Cricket Ground also appeared in the comments section, calling the trio “Legends of the game.”

Warne’s also the second-highest wicket-taker in Test cricket. He picked 708 wickets in 145 Test matches for Australia at an impressive average of 25.42, second only to Murlidharan.

He has also picked 10 ten-wicket hauls and 37 fifers in Test cricket. Apart from just contributing with the ball, Warne has also contributed with the bat on many occasions where he scored 3,154 runs in red-ball cricket with the help of 12 fifties.
