Indian cricket legend Sunil Gavaskar appreciated Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya who recently won the IPL 2022 trophy as a skipper of the new franchise Gujarat Titans. Sunil Gavaskar thinks Hardik can be one of the important players for India in the future.
Sunil Gavaskar likes the playing style and mentality of the former Mumbai Indians’ all rounder Hardik Pandya. Indian legend feels he can win match for India or any team with his bat and bowl both.
“I believe Hardik Pandya is going to be the game changer for India with both bat and bowl. He is massive and does the work of two players. Hardik Pandya as a batter would have to bat in the top four or five, but as an all-rounder, he can bat at five, six, or four and still bowl those two-three overs for you,” said former Indian batter Sunil Gavaskar via Star Sports Network.
Hardik Pandya has regained his form in this year’s IPL and was amazing with both bat and bowl. His wonderful spell in the finals of IPL 2022 helped Gujarat Titans lift the trophy in their first-ever season. Hardik then was named in the Indian squad for the South Africa’s 5-match T20I series.
