Talking about the match, defending a target of 201, Lahore Qalandars captain Shaheen Afridi set the tone early, striking twice in the first over to dismiss David Warner and James Vince for ducks. Tim Seifert followed soon after, falling to Asif Afridi for just 18.
After the powerplay, Rishad Hossain dismantled the middle order, removing Shan Masood (18), Abbad Afridi (1), and Irfan Khan Niazi (6). Sikandar Raza chipped in as well, taking the wicket of Arafat Minhas for a duck.
Though Hasan Ali (27) and Khushdil Shah (39) added some late runs, Karachi Kings fell well short of the target.
