James Vince delivered a sensational performance, smashing 101 runs off just 43 balls to help Karachi Kings chase down a massive target of 235 runs. However, despite his match-winning heroics, Vince ended up receiving a rather unusual award – a hairdryer. The quirky prize was part of a sponsor’s giveaway for the ‘Most Reliable Player of the Match,’ leaving fans both amused and baffled.

The moment James Vince was handed the hairdryer, he couldn’t help but burst into laughter. His reaction quickly went viral, and it wasn’t long before fans began mocking both the Pakistan Super League and Karachi Kings for presenting such a small and bizarre gift to a player who had just played a match-winning innings. Karachi Kings continued their trend of odd awards as Hasan Ali received a hair trimmer for being the ‘Most Reliable Player’ in the PSL 2025 match against Lahore Qalandars. Despite his impressive 4/28, the Kings lost by 65 runs. In a video shared by the team, Hasan jokingly asked if the trimmer could be used to remove hair from his arms, leaving fans amused.

Talking about the match, defending a target of 201, Lahore Qalandars captain Shaheen Afridi set the tone early, striking twice in the first over to dismiss David Warner and James Vince for ducks. Tim Seifert followed soon after, falling to Asif Afridi for just 18.

After the powerplay, Rishad Hossain dismantled the middle order, removing Shan Masood (18), Abbad Afridi (1), and Irfan Khan Niazi (6). Sikandar Raza chipped in as well, taking the wicket of Arafat Minhas for a duck.

Though Hasan Ali (27) and Khushdil Shah (39) added some late runs, Karachi Kings fell well short of the target.
