Early Age:
Ruturaj Gaikwad, the standout opener for Chennai Super Kings (CSK), was born on January 31, 1997, in Pune, Maharashtra, India. His father, Dashrath Gaikwad, was a DRDO officer, and his mother worked in a municipality school. His elementary education was received at St. Joseph School. He went to the Lakashmibai Nadgude School in Pimple Nilakh, Pune. Gaikwad began his cricket career at the age of 13 when he joined the Dilip Vangsarkar Academy.
First Debut:
He made his first-class debut for Maharashtra in the 2016-17 season, his List-A debut in the same season of the Vijay Hazare Trophy, and he has represented India A, India B, India Blue, and Under-23. He has some records under his name, some of which are difficult to break. One of the most memorable was when he smashed seven sixes in an over and scored 43 runs in an over during the second quarterfinals of the 2022 Vijay Hazare Trophy, and he became the first hitter to hit seven sixes in an over. IPL Career:
