The match-winning spell came from Heather Graham, who concluded with 2 for 26, with the vital wickets of Beth Mooney and Captain Sophie Devine. Linsey Smith also made a marked impact in a short stint, taking 2 from 8 for only two overs.
Mooney (33 from 26) was sent back three times in the power play, only to be removed, while Devine launched a couple of sixes before being stumped towards the end of the innings.

Hobart Hurricanes qualifies for the final by topping the WBBL 2025 points table, while the Perth Scorchers, who are aiming for a second win, had to go through two finals matches to make it to the finals but failed to do so on the finals night.
This is Hobart’s maiden WBBL title in 11 years, following on from the success of the men’s side, who won the BBL premiership in the previous season.
