The Men’s Hockey Asia Cup 2025 will be the 12th edition of the quadrennial international men’s field hockey championship of Asia. It is organized by the Asian Hockey Federation. It will be held in Rajgir, India from 27 August to 7 September 2025.
The champions will qualify for the 2026 Men’s FIH Hockey World Cup in the Netherlands and Belgium.
Asia Cup Rajgir Bihar 2025 promises ten days of world-class hockey action, bringing together Asia’s finest teams chasing continental glory.
South Korea are the defending champions.
Pakistan withdrew due to security concerns and was replaced by Bangladesh. Oman also pulled out due to financial constraints and were replaced by Kazakhstan.
The tournament will kick-off on 29 August with reigning champions Korea beginning their title defense against Chinese Taipei, and hosts India facing China.

Hockey Asia Cup 2025: Format
A total of eight nations are taking part which are divided into two pools of four teams each. The pool stage will be followed by the Super4s, with the Final on 7 September 2025 between the teams finishing first and second in the Super4s.
