The Women’s Hockey Asia Cup 2025 has entered the Super 4 stage with India finishing as the Group B leaders.
They registered a thumping 12-0 win over Singapore at the Gongshu Canal Sports Park Stadium on Monday.
A hat-trick each from Mumtaz Khan and Navneet Kaur led India win by a huge margin lifting India to the top of Pool B, ahead of Japan on goal difference.
For India Navneet (14′, 20′, 28′), Mumtaz (2′, 32′, 39′), Neha (11′, 38′), Lalremsiami (13′), Udita (29′), Sharmila (45′) and Rutuja Pisal (53′) scored goals to ensure a dominant victory for the Indian team.
India made a solid start with four goals in the first quarter. The Blue Tigress added three goals in the second quarter and four in the third before closing off with one goal in the final phase.

The Indian side started the tournament with a convincing 11-0 win over Thailand, before playing out a thrilling 2-2 draw against Japan in the second game.
The top two from each pool progressed to the Super 4s, which will decide the finalists. Thailand and Singapore were eliminated.
Women’s Hockey Asia Cup 2025: Super 4s Teams & Format
The four teams qualifying for the Super‑4 round are:
- India
- China
- Malaysia
- South Korea
Each team will play in a single round‑robin format, which means each team plays the other three once.
The top two teams after this stage advance to the final, while the remaining two play in the bronze medal match at women’s hockey Asia Cup.
