Kohli has received support from all over during his recent struggle with form. And while Virat Kohli showed the intent in the last match against Pakistan, he’s yet to have a blazing comeback.

The prolific batter scored a satisfactory 35 off 34 in the chase on the 28th at the Dubai stadium. It was, however, one of the highest scores that an Indian batter registered against the pace attack of Pakistan. The fans are confident in their ‘king’ to have his comeback in the game through the Asia Cup. Moreover, Kohli himself has iterated the same in his recent interactions where he opened up about his struggles and preparations to counter them. Hopefully, the next matches will see the rise of the “King” again.

Hong Kong skipper wishes well for Virat Kohli

The Hong Kong captain, ahead of the match against India, said, “I am a big fan of Virat Kohli, he played well against Pakistan, we really want him to come back in form & score lots of runs.” Both the teams last faced each other in the same contest back in 2018, where India defeated them by 20 runs.

However, the skipper is confident about the upcoming clash. “We lost by just 20 runs when we last faced India at the Asia Cup in 2018. Anything can happen in a T20 game. You don’t when a bowler can deliver a good spell, or a batter hits some quick runs in a couple of overs,” he said. “We have seen in the past too how even the top sides have lost against associate teams. We will go with positive body language and will stick to our process,” he added.
