After the success of last season’s Summer Party, developers have launched Summer Special Vol. 2 in Season 4, bringing back beach vibes and fresh cosmetics. The Summer Special Vol. 2 event works like a mini battle pass. Every match you play and every mission you complete earns event XP, which increases your seasonal level. As you level up, you unlock rewards along the way.
- Free track players get a selection of rewards, with The Thing’s Rocky Tide skin being the biggest prize.
- Premium track players get access to even more cosmetics, including additional summer outfits and bonus items.
To unlock The Thing’s new look, you need to reach Level 14 on the free track. There’s no premium requirement, no hidden conditions, and no extra credits needed. Once you hit Level 14, the skin is automatically added to your account.
Tips to Progress Faster
You don’t need to grind nonstop to get this reward. Progress comes steadily as long as you keep playing. Here are some tips to level up quickly:
- Log in daily and complete seasonal missions. These give bonus XP compared to regular matches.

The Rocky Tide skin isn’t the only addition in this update. The event includes five heroes with new summer looks:
- Human Torch gets the “Sunny Sizzler” skin on the premium track at Level 1.
- Mantis receives “Oceanic Harmony” at Level 21 of the premium track.
- The Punisher’s Aqua Arsenal and Invisible Woman’s Azure Shade are available separately in the in-game shop.
