Indian cricket team will be up against Pakistan cricket team on Sunday, 28th August in their first game of the Asia Cup 2022. The competition will consist of 13 games and then the knock-outs will be played. Indian team will be looking to win this title another time. Virat Kohli who was given rest for a while is ready to play his first game after a long break on Sunday.
Ahead of this game, Virat was interviewed on Star Sports where he talked about his feelings. Virat also praised his rival team’s captain Babar Azam and said his batting style is amazing.
“For the first time in 10 years, I didn’t touch my bat for a month. When I sat down and thought about it I was like, ‘wow, I haven’t touched a bat for like 30 days’. I haven’t ever done that in my life. I came to the realisation that I was trying to fake my intensity a bit recently,” said Virat Kohli on Star Sports ahead of India vs Pakistan.
Indian fans are excited to see Virat back on field again on Sunday and hope that he plays well in the tournament.
