KL Rahul didn’t bat in the first ODI against Zimbabwe as both the opening batter Shubman Gill and Shikhar Dhawan finished off the game. KL Rahul wasn’t happy that he couldn’t score runs in the second ODI when he decided to open the innings with Shikhar Dhawan.

“Didn’t work, I wanted to get some runs but it didn’t happen. Hopefully in the next game. Good for some boys to get some time in the middle. I need some time in the middle, obviously playing this series was important for me,” said KL Rahul on opening the innings in the second ODI against Zimbabwe.
