South Africa’s young sensation Dewald Brevis has jumped out of the world in the new ICC T20I ranking, going up 80 positions and entering the top 25. The 21-year-old jumped from the 101st to 21st rank following his unbelievable unbeaten 125 against Australia during the second T20I at Darwin on August 12.
Walking in at 44-2 in the fifth over, Brevis not only scored his first T20I fifty but transformed it into the highest individual score by a South African in T20Is. His innings, which included 12 fours and 8 sixes, also became the youngest South African to have hit a T20I century.

David’s scorching form saw him aggregate 50, 83, 30, and an unbeaten 102 in his previous four T20I matches, securing his spot among the world’s best.
