Indian commentator Harsha Bhogle made a tweet on Thursday after Indian team won the first ODI against Zimbabwe at Harare Sports Club, Harare. Indian cricket team is in Zimbabwe to play the three-match ODI series against them. KL Rahul is captaining the side in this series. Harsha Bhogle feels the Indian pacer Deepak Chahar’s comeback in the team is a plus point.

The commentator feels Deepak Chahar is an amazing pacer who can swing the ball nicely. He also feels if Deepak maintains his fitness well and keeps bowling the way he bowls, then it will be good for him and the team. Harsha Bhogle thinks if Harshal Patel who is injured currently, doesn’t recorder in time then Deepak could be his perfect replacement. Harshal Patel also couldn’t make it to the Indian Asia Cup 2022 squad due to injury.

“The return of Deepak Chahar is a big plus because if he can maintain fitness and rhythm, he can be a valuable part of the T20 squad. If he ticks those boxes, and if Harshal Patel can’t recover in time, he will be in my T20 World Cup team,” tweets Harsha Bhogle on Deepak Chahar.

Deepak also took three wickets in his comeback game in the first ODI against Zimbabwe on Thursday.
