According to the ongoing speculation, Jasprit Bumrah is likely to be ruled out from the upcoming T20 World Cup 2022 due to his back stress fracture complications. As per the reports, an anonymous BCCI official has recently revealed that Bumrah has been suffering from a serious back ailment and would not be able to make a comeback to international cricket before 5-6 months. The news came out on Wednesday as a major shock to the fans of Indian cricket sport when Bumrah was ruled out from the T20I series against South Africa.
Although Bumrah’s withdrawal from the World Cup tournament would prove to be a major setback for the bowling unit of India, who have already been leaking quite a lot of runs in the crucial death overs of the match, which also resulted in a dreadful defeat against Australia in the opening match of T20I series against Australia in Mohali, the national selectors of the Indian cricket team would have to find a strong replacement for the pace spearhead Jasprit Bumrah.
