India lose some early wickets in the game as South African bowlers were amazing in the first half of the first innings. India was 81/4 when Dinesh Karthik came onto the crease. Opener Ruturaj Gaikwad and Ishan Kishan couldn’t do much at the start and were dismissed early. Since Dinesh Karthik came, the Indian team looked stable. Since the start, he played some amazing shots.

Later on, Dinesh Karthik was dismissed by CSK pacer Dwaine Pretorius in the second last over. This was Dinesh Karthik’s maiden T20I fifty in Indian jersey though he made his debut in the year 2006. Not only him, but also Hardik Pandya who is also having a great year scored 46 runs in the game.
