IND vs AUS 3rd Test Day 3 Live Updates: With India has just given them a pathetic 75 to chase down with 10 wickets in hand, Australia is poised to win the third Test inside the third day in Indore. The visitors will finally experience victory for the first time in this series, barring any extraordinary events.
A Test victory India is outstanding in that they have only lost two home games in the last two years. The two teams that defeated them were Australia itself in 2017 and England in 2021. If the third defeat occurs on Friday, only India’s top order collapse will be to blame, with Cheteshwar Pujara providing the only resistance against a deadly Nathan Lyon, who finished up taking 8 wickets in the second innings.
Although both Indian openers Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill were out for very little money, followed by Ravindra Jadeja, Shreyas Iyer, and Srikar Bharat, Pujara’s 59 was the only bright spot in India’s innings. Lyon eventually caught Pujara after Steve Smith pulled off a brilliant dismissal to leave India skittled at 163.

Ind vs. Aus live: The WTC Final scenario
Rohit Sharma and company’s journey to the World Test Championship final has become a little more difficult as a result of India’s nine-wicket loss in Nagpur. Australia has guaranteed their place in the World Test Championship final, which will be contested at the Oval in the first week of June, while India still needs to win the fourth and final Test in Ahmedabad.

Nathan Lyon: It’s been a very amazing Test series. But, I am extremely pleased of my squad for coming out here and giving a great performance. It was quite amazing to watch the boys defeat the opposition today. I don’t know all the techniques or trades in the game, but one thing I do have is faith in my best ball, and that’s the most important thing in international cricket. If you have faith in your greatest ball, you can compete against the top players for longer stretches of time. I don’t believe I have mastered it (bowling to Indian hitters), but I’ve had the good fortune to work with some of the top players, including Virat and Pujara, and I enjoy pushing myself to new limits.

Steve Smith: “I suppose obviously losing the toss and having to bowl first on the first day. But our bowlers, especially Kuhnemann, performed admirably. All of our bowlers made a difference. In the opening innings, Usman was excellent with the bat. We have some successful alliances. We kind of collapsed at the end, and India bowled pretty brilliantly. It was a difficult day for us; Pujji played brilliantly, but all of our bowlers performed admirably. In the end, it was a complete performance. Our prayers are with Patty, who is back at his house. But, I had a great time this week. This area of the earth is one that I enjoy captaining. I believe I comprehend most of the nuances. I think I did a respectable job this week in a place that I really enjoy. The strategy will be very similar. We must ascertain the circumstances.
