Speaking to the British media ahead of the fifth T20 match, Paul Collingwood said, “The way the team has performed in the limited-overs format in four years will make many teams afraid of our team in the World Cup. Our team has many match-winning players from first to number 11, who can win matches on their own with the bat. This team is quite different from the 2010 team but I don’t think we could be in a better position than this. Our 2010 team got into a rhythm in the last moments. We took some risks including selection. We know what kind of cricket we want to play. I think this team is better prepared. ‘

Talking about the decisive match of the series, the England assistant coach said, “Such pressure matches will help the team prepare better for the World Cup. It is a big contest and both teams know this. This will give the experience of knockout cricket. For us, it is like a final. You need to have such experience before the World Cup. ‘ The England team had lost to India by 8 runs in the fourth T20 match. The five-match T20 series is on par with 2-2 and the last match is to be played at the Narendra Modi Cricket Stadium in Ahmedabad on 20 March.
