All preparations are underway as both the teams arrive on Sunday at the Headingley Stadium, Leeds. The third test is set to take place from 25th-29th August 2021. It will be interesting to see the Playing XI of the Indian squad as Suryakumar Yadav and Prithvi Shaw joined the team at Lord’s.

Not to forget that England’s fortress has been The Headingley stadium and team India will have to be at their very best to get the kind of results they want.

India had a fantastic first test which unfortunately resulted in a draw owing to the bad weather. In the second test, Rohit Sharma, KL Rahul and the combined efforts of the entire bowling unit bagged them a 1-0 lead against England at Lord’s.

It will be interesting to see how Virat Kohli’s men in blue keep the momentum going. Many learnings for team India, even as the brilliant team effort succeeded in the previous test, the middle order batsman failed to get the right length. They couldn’t keep going. Suryakumar Yadav who has been wonderful with the shorter format can replace Indian middle-order batsman Cheteshwar Pujara. This change will at least hope that Team India have the right balance even in the most crucial parts of the game.

Let’s hope that the Indian team makes some right decisions, plans well and make the required changes in their squad for a better line-up.

It will be interesting to see the debut of Suryakumar Yadav and Prithvi Shaw!
