That was a crucial performance by the England bowlers on the morning of Day 4. Now, the India vs England third test at Headingley Stadium in Leeds is tied at 1-1.

Joe Root led England bowlers’ had a fine show today. They were able to take back-to-back wickets. With a strong comeback, team England clinched a win by entire innings and 76 runs.

James Anderson played beautifully to keep the pressure on Indian batsmen throughout the innings.  As team India lost quick wickets, they had lost the opportunity of a comeback too. Dawid Malan who returned to the test side after a short gap of 3 years along with Captain Joe Root has documented fine innings with the bat. Overall a fantastic team effort by England to easily seal the deal with the Indians.

Even as the batting lineup only looked fine with the entry of Cheteshwar Pujara and Virat Kohli’s cameo, the unit as a whole was unable to depend on their performances. English batsman already did the damage before Mohammed Shami picked up 4 wickets for 95 runs.
