In the second round of the AFC Women’s Olympic Football Qualifying Tournament, which will take place in October or November of this year, the Indian women’s football team has been paired with Japan, Vietnam, and Uzbekistan.

On Thursday, the draw was held at the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) House in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

The AFC Women’s Olympic Qualifying Tournament’s opening round was held in April. India advanced to the second round of the playoff by defeating the Kyrgyz Republic in two legs by scores of 5-0 and 4-0.

Indian women, who were assigned to Group C for the second round, will play each of their matches in Uzbekistan from October 23 to November 1. The schedule and locations will be revealed later.

Twelve teams will compete in the second round of the AFC Women’s Olympic qualifiers. They were divided into three equal groups (A-C).

In the final round, which will take place in February 2024, the three group winners and one best-placed runner-up from the second round will compete for the two spots in the Paris 2024 Olympics.
