South Africa ended India’s 12-match winning streak in T20Is on Thursday, 9th June in Arun Jaitley Stadium. India and South Africa were playing their first T20I game out of 5. Indian ex-cricketer Irfan Pathan wasn’t happy after South Africa defeated India by 7 wickets. He wasn’t pretty impressed with Indian bowling in the game as they gave away a lot of runs since the start of the second innings.
Indian bowlers also didn’t take wickets in the middle overs which cost them this game as both the South African batters namely David Miller and van der Dussen became settled in the crease and then take their team to the victory.
“This series supposed to be a tough one and South Africans are making sure of it. Team India needs to sort out the bowling, Especially the First 5 and last 5 overs,” tweeted Irfan Pathan after the first T20I game between India and South Africa.
Irfan Pathan also appreciated South African batters that they showed a great spirit and made this series tough after winning the first game. Irfan thinks Indian bowlers made mistakes in the first 5 and the last 5 overs by giving away too many runs and not taking wickets.
