This Asia-focused track will wrap up three full days of discussions on the Emerging Markets Stage. The journey kicks off with Africa on day one, moves into Eurasia and the Middle East. on day two, and finishes with Asia’s unique opportunities and challenges.

Rasmus Sojmark, CEO and founder of SBC, summed up the importance of the track: “If you’re building a global gaming business, you can’t afford to ignore Asia. This track makes it clear why the region belongs at the center of every long-term growth strategy.

“Asia needs a platform where regulators, operators, suppliers, and investors can talk openly. SBC is proud to provide that space, and the Emerging Markets stage is the centerpiece of that effort.”

Opening Session: Navigating Asia’s Regulations

Things kick off with Asia: Navigating Regulation, Opportunity and Uncertainty, a panel that dives into the region’s complex regulatory picture. Speakers include Rory Anderson (Consultant, 12BET), Paul Fox (Chairman & Founder, Claymore Solutions), Lau Kok Keng (Head of Intellectual Property, Sports & Gaming, Rajah & Tan Singapore), and Yuta Romanchenko (CBDO, Big Idea), with Rosalind Wade (CEO, WinnaMedia) moderating.

The group will compare very different markets, like India’s fast rise in alternative betting versus Macau’s long-established land-based sector, and weigh in on which countries are looking most attractive for new investment.

India’s Roadmap for the Next Decade

The session India’s Regulatory Roadmap: The Next Decade for Gaming will zoom in on one of Asia’s most complex markets. India’s system is shaped by state-by-state rules and a key legal divide between games of skill and games of chance. This has led to a mix where fantasy sports, lottery, and horse racing thrive, while online gaming and sports betting remain mostly restricted.

On the panel are Ranjana Adhikari (Partner, Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co Advocates & Solicitors), Anton Kaszubowski (Managing Director, SBC Advisory), and Japneet Singh Sethi (Chief Growth Officer, South Asia, iGaming NDA). Together, they’ll explore whether India is truly moving toward proper regulation or if the grey market will continue to dominate.

Spotlight on the Philippines: Beyond POGOs

Another highlight is Philippines: Life after POGOs, which looks at the country’s big shift from offshore gaming operators (POGOs) to the newer PIGOs. Joining this conversation are Dominique Laconico (President & CEO, MegaBet+ & Scorebet), Keith McDonnell (Director, KMI Group), Joe Pisano (CEO, Jade Gaming), and Marie Antonette “Tonet” Quiogue (Principal, Arden Consult).

They’ll discuss whether this change could make the Philippines Asia’s first truly regulated gaming market, what role PAGCOR will play going forward, what happens to the international players once served by POGOs, and what other countries in Asia can learn from this model.

Beyond Asia: Global Perspectives

Of course, the action doesn’t stop there. Alongside the Emerging Markets stage, the Summit’s Global Markets stage will deliver a closer look at the world’s most profitable sports betting and iGaming regions. Across three days, attendees will pick up strategies for entering and expanding in Latin America & Brazil, Western Europe and North America.
