The news is good for Shikhar Dhawan as he lost his place in the playing eleven in the T20I series against England due to poor performance. Rohit and Dhawan will start the innings for the Indian team in the first ODI against England. Virat will land at number three, while Shreyas Iyer may get preference over Suryakumar Yadav at number four. Rishabh Pant at number five and all-rounder Hardik Pandya at number six can land. Krunal Pandya and Yuzvendra Chahal may get a chance to replace Washington Sundar and Kuldeep Yadav. The pace bowling will be led by Bhuvneshwar Kumar, who made a comeback in the T20I series after recovering from injury. T Natarajan and Shardul Thakur can join the playing eleven as the second and third pacers.
