India has equaled England 2–2 in the series, defeating England by 8 runs. India scored 185 runs losing 8 wickets in 20 overs. England’s team was able to score 177 runs for eight wickets. Shardul Thakur took three wickets. Rahul Chahar and Hardik Pandya got 2-2 wickets. England’s Stokes scored 46 runs. For India, Suryakumar Yadav scored the highest number of 57 runs. He scored this with the help of 31 balls in which he hits three sixes and four fours. Apart from Yadav, Shreyas Iyer scored 37 runs, Pant scored 30 runs. Archer was the most successful bowler for England. He took 4 wickets for 33 runs in 4 overs.
Suryakumar Yadav made his batting debut with a six in his T20I career. He started his international innings with a six-off Jofra Archer. Yadav hit a half-century in his second T20I off 28 balls. Sam Curran gets Yadav out of the hands of Malan. The umpire called him out because of giving soft signals. In fact, Yadav played an aerial shot off Curran and Malan claimed to have taken the catch. After the on-field umpire gave a soft signal out, the third umpire called him out after watching replays several times. Suryakumar Yadav got his debut in the second match. But his batting did not come then.
Earlier, Rohit started India’s innings by hitting a six off the first ball of leg-spinner Adil Rashid.
