1. Gul Mohammad
Gul Mohammad was one of Pakistan cricket’s first big names. His family moved to Pakistan after he played 8 Test matches for India and made his debut in 1946. Mohammed made his international debut for Pakistan against Australia in 1956. He only played nine Tests in total.
2. Amir Elahi
Amir Elahi was born in Lahore on September 1, 1908, and made his debut for India in 1947. He then moved to Pakistan, where he played five Tests, scoring 82 runs and taking seven wickets. At the age of 44, he played his final Test against India on December 12, 1952. In 1950, he became a citizen of Pakistan.
3. Abdul Hafeez Kardar
The last name on this list is Hafeez Kardar. He was born in Lahore and played three Tests for India before returning to Pakistan. In 1952, the southpaw was appointed as Pakistan’s first captain. In 26 test matches, he scored 927 runs. He also had five half-centuries and 21 Test wickets during this time. Kardar’s final match was against the West Indies in 1958.
