Indian cricket contingent headed towards the UK for their respective matches arrived in Mumbai on Wednesday. The men’s team will be playing their Test series against England along with the World Test Championship final against New Zealand whereas the women’s team will be touring England for Test, ODI, and T20 series.
BCCI took to Twitter and shared pictures of the players. The pictures include players from both the men’s and women’s teams.
The entire contingent will undergo a quarantine period before leaving for England which has been seen as a precautionary step. After arriving in the UK the players will be isolated once again before starting with their respective matches.
The players will undergo constant testing to ensure that anyone is not infected and the entire can be carried out with safety.
