On April 2, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced the full schedule for India’s home cricket season in 2025. During this season, the Indian cricket team will play against the West Indies and South Africa in different formats of the game.

BCCI Announces India’s Home Season 2025 Schedule

In an official media release, the BCCI official said:

“The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is pleased to announce the schedule for Team India (Senior Men) international home season for 2025. The upcoming season promises thrilling encounters as India face off against West Indies and South Africa across Test matches, One-Day Internationals (ODIs), and Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is),”

India’s home season will begin with a two-match Test series against the West Indies. The first Test will be played in Ahmedabad from October 2, and the second Test will start on October 10 in Kolkata.

After playing Test matches against the West Indies, India will face South Africa in a series that includes two Tests, three ODIs, and five T20Is.

Guwahati Set to Host Its First-Ever Test Match

The first Test between India and South Africa will take place in New Delhi on November 14, followed by the second Test in Guwahati on November 22. This will be Guwahati’s first-ever Test match.

After the Test series, both teams will shift their focus to limited-overs cricket. The ODI series will begin on November 30, with matches scheduled in Ranchi, Raipur, and Vizag on December 3 and December 6.

The T20I matches between India and South Africa will be held on December 9, 11, 14, 17, and 19 in Cuttack, New Chandigarh, Dharamsala, Lucknow, and Ahmedabad.
