Inter Milan fans were on the streets of Milan and possibly in the whole city, crowds were in enthusiastic mood as Internazionale celebrates their Seria A title. The Scudetto will provide a big slice of prize money to Inter Milan.
Inter Milan has secured the Seria A title after 9 years of dominance by Juventus, and Nerazzurri fans waited around 11 years, to celebrate it. After the treble of 2010, it is the 19th Scudetto in the club’s history.
Internazionale will savor the economic benefits besides the Scudetto, and Calcio e Finanza estimates, the new Serie A claimed champions are empowered to the giant chunk of €23.4 million precisely of Italy’s broadcasting rights.
Apart from that, the Champions have secured Champions League spot too so the UEFA Champions League market pool will also allocate them a total of €25 million to the Italian television market. And €10 million is set to go to the league champions of €25 million, that is 40% of it. Another €15.25 million in starting fee that UEFA grants to all clubs that access the UEFA Champions League group stage.
Inter Milan is entitled to secure beside the Seria A title in total around €33.4 million in total, While, Inter remains the second-largest spender in the transfer market in Italian soccer behind Juventus.
