Mumbai Indians batting up until Suryakumar Yadav and skipper Rohit Sharma’s presence was pretty fine but once they departed, the whole line-up fell like a deck of cards and it was all RUSSELL show.
Andre Russell, playing his 350th T20 match, made it a memorable one to remember for the ages. Dre Russ bowled only two overs (18th and 20th) but took 5 wickets, which is outstanding.
2⃣ overs, 5⃣ wickets 🤯

He just conceded 15 runs in 12 balls that he bowled and took fifer too. These bowling figures are also the best bowling figure for any KKR bowler in IPL’s history. Also this is the best bowling figure against MUMBAI INDIANS in IPL history
Andre Russell bowling tonight:
0, W, WD, W, 1, 2, 1, 4, 4, W, W, 2, W.
– 2 overs.
– 5 wickets.

In the last over, he took 3 wickets and was on a hat-trick, but couldn’t convert it into one.
No hat-trick for Andre Russell today, but he finishes with a five-wicket haul!

These bowling figures are incredible and in two fifers in this season, have come against Mumbai Indians only. In the first match, it was Harshal Patel and this time, it is The Carribbean Monster, Andre Russell.
MI has put up a target of 153 for KKR to chase, which is below the 156 par score in Chennai’s Chepauk.
