As COVID-19 pandemic has come with its second wave and IPL matches were held in many parts of the country. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) told whole team of Delhi capitals to go into quarantine. It is important as on April 29th, DC had played with KKR team whose members Varun Chakravarthy and Sandeep Warrier tested positive for COVID-19.
All players of DC are isolated themselves as they came in contact with KKR team members. Now, DC team is residing in Ahmedabad. It also restrict DC’s practice sessions as it is matter of concern for BCCI. DC played its last match against PBKS and won the match. As many players like Adam Zampa, Andrew Tye and other foreign players who came India to play IPL 2021 left in between because of increasing COVID-19 cases.
KKR is also in quarantine as its two members were tested Positive and it also restricts KKR from playing its upcoming matches in IPL 2021.
