IPL 2021: Ben Stokes to be ruled out of action for up to 12 weeks, confirms ECB

It was just a few days back, it was announced that the Rajasthan Royals all-rounder Ben Stokes has been ruled out of the IPL 2021 tournament due to an injury. Meanwhile, in the last event of turns, a clear report has been made on Ben Stokes by the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB). As per the reports, Stokes would be out of action for around 12 weeks as the scan showed a fracture in his left index finger.

The RR all-rounder is set to leave for England for his further treatment on April 17. He sustained the injury while playing in the Rajasthan Royals’ opening game against Punjab Kings while catching the ball. As per the scans, the extent of the injury states that he will be out of the game for some part of the English summer as well, and will have to go through a surgery to fix his finger.

Ben Stokes was one of the best player of the Rajasthan Royals ad a vital part of the squad. Though RR lost their first game against the Punjab Kings, they won the 2nd one in an incredible way against the Delhi Capitals.
