After a horrible start to their Indian Premier League 2021, the Rajasthan Royals has finally registered a win and returned to the winning route. IN the eighteenth encounter, KKR vs RR, Knight Riders batting unit suffered the disappointment as they handed over the victory to Rajasthan Royals by six wickets.
In the powerplay, KKR lost the wicket of Shubman Gill owing to run out by Jos Buttler. The other opener of KKR, Nitish Rana improved his tactics and played well after quite a poor performance before, but he lacked the intent of scoring at a good rate. Rana’s dismissal in the ninth over made their team less powerful, ad soon after him, Sunil Narine and Eoin Morgan lost their wickets as well.
Chasing 134, Rajasthan Royals’ opening pair Jos Buttler and Yashasvi Jaiswal was a new experiment for them, however they didn’t have much better start as Buttler was dismissed with just five runs on hand. As the game progressed, Jaiswal lost his wicket in the fifth over while Sanju Samson held his place. Samson and David Miller made the win possible for Royals.
