The thirteenth encounter of the Indian Premier League 2021 was one of the those matches where you can’t actually decide which team should win. The clash between Delhi Capitals and Mumbai Indians was quite interesting as the momentum swung back and forth, and in the end, Delhi Capitals won the match by six wickets.
Entering the field, Mumbai Indians included Jayant Yadav to their Playing XI replacing Adam Milne while the Delhi Capitals also made a few changes in their squad including Amit Mishra and Shimron Hetmeyr. MI batted first and got off ton impressive start as they scored 55 runs in their powerplay and losing one wicket of Quinton De Kock.
However, as the game progressed, Rishabh Pant introduced Amit Mishra who changed the direction of the game. He took two crucial wickets of opposition skipper Rohit Sharma and Hardik Pandya. The Capitals were successful in restricting the Mumbai Indians and even at their turn of batting, Delhi Capitals’ Shikhar Dhawan took the spotlight.
