Three matches, three victories by the Royal Challengers Bangalore, who maintained their incredible record in the IPL 2021. In the RCB vs KKR game, the Virat Kohli led side managed to win by 38 runs. During the first inning, Glenn Maxwell notched up his consecutive half century, as he rebuilt alongside Devdutt Padikkal maintaining an 86-runs partnership.

Maxwell seems in his zone in the field when he smashed a four from Shakib Al Hasan and belted another boundary against Pat Cummins. RCB managed to sore 2014/4 and set a run chase of 205 for the Kolkata Knight Riders.

Chasing 205, Nitish Rana took a little bit of time to settle on the field along with Rahul Tripathi. KKR was well on track of recovery with both the batsmen timing the ball neatly, although Washington Sundar dismissed Tripathi on the last ball of the powerplay. However, later on as the game progressed, KKR seemed to be off the game and lost the match against the Royal Challengers Bangalore.
