Mumbai Indians have had a good start in IPL 2021. But in the last matches, there have been some things that have caused trouble for Mumbai. Among all the reasons the poor performance of Hardik Pandya and Krunal Pandya is one of the serious problems for the defending champions Mumbai Indians

Mumbai Indians suffered a major batting collapse as they went from 67/1 to 137/9. Amit Mishra came back into the team and took four wickets for 24 runs in his four overs. The highest partnership for Mumbai was for the second wicket between skipper Rohit Sharma and Suryakumar Yadav. Rohit scored 44 runs from 30 deliveries whereas Suryakumar scored 24 runs from 15 balls. The other two batsmen who registered double-digit scores were wicketkeeper-batsman Ishan Kishan and Jayant Yadav.

Apart from Mishra, Avesh Khan took two wickets whereas Marcus Stoinis, Kagiso Rabada, and Lalit Yadav took one wicket each. Earlier, Rohit won the toss and elected to bat first. Rohit went with three overseas players bringing Jayant in place of Adam Milne. On the other hand, Rishabh Pant included Mishra in place of Lukman Meriwala and Shimron Hetmyer in Chris Woakes’ place.
